“For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.”    Song of Solomon 2:11-13

Well the beginning of March 2013 was weather packed and looked more like a lion than a lamb. Storms blew in from East to West and North to South. California was colder longer or so it seemed. Then, finally last week warmth arrived in Sunny San D and hip-hip-hooray!!! Let the butterflies flutter praise! This is why California taxes are so high, right?

While enjoying the sun it occurs to me that the grass and weeds are also really high. No wonder allergies are notable everywhere.

SHOPPING LIST: Throat coat tea, honey and allergy tabs.

Looking across the family acre, the question arises- Who is going to cut this grass??? Okay so, as female as I may be, I can do it… tomorrow? Yes! Tomorrow! I will rise early with lawn mower instructions in hand and I will cut this yard. I will. And when its done I will reward myself with a trip to the mall to find a pretty little Spring outfit and chocolate for comfort. Tomorrow!
